Synopsys, Inc.has completed its acquisition of certain assets of Quotium (NYSE Euronext: QTE), including the Seeker® product and R&D team. The asset acquisition adds talent and technology that will accelerate Synopsys' efforts in the software application security market and extend the company's Coverity® platform with interactive application security testing (IAST) functionality.
The Seeker solution helps businesses find high-risk security weaknesses while fostering collaboration between development and security teams. It exposes vulnerable code and ties it directly to business impact and exploitation scenarios, providing a clear explanation of risks.
