To address the dramatic revamps in the ‘Silicon to Software’ ecosystem, Synopsys, Inc. kick-starts the SNUG India - 2016, a two-day event in Bengaluru. As the continued advances bring daunting complexity challenges and a growing wave of technical and business opportunities for the semiconductor industry, SNUG (Synopsys Users Group) offers an opportunity to exchange ideas and participate in discussions surrounding the design challenges the innovators face, now and in the future.

Delivering the keynote speech, Deirdre Hanford, Executive Vice President, Customer Engagement, Synopsys, asserts, “Machine Learning, Automotive and Computer Vision are the most interesting fields of innovations taking place in the arena of Semiconductors. Machine learning is a new name, but a fragment where some unbelievable innovations were realized recently.‘Infineon’ is one among such revolutionary breed products- enabling high-performance Automotive Microcontroller using ICC-II.”

Deirdre also announces two new products from the organization. A Custom Compiler – offering visually assisted automation. And another one in ATPG technology fragment, Tetramax-II, which cuts the ATPG runtime from days to hours. Tetramax-II offers 10x faster test pattern generation, 25 percent fewer pattern and 3x memory reduction.

The keynote speech was followed by sessions centred on IC Verification, Implementation and Design, by Synopsys experts in the fragment including Pratik Mahajan, Vineet Kumar Kothari Harish M K Gowda and William Luis to name few.

The day two programs will be starting with the keynote speech of VamsiBoppana, Vice President, Processing, Systems Software and Applications, Site Director & CTO, Xilinx India. The sessions for the second day include the discussions on IC Implementation, Systems & IP and AMS, in the presence of dignitaries including Marco Casale-Rossi, PradeepBalasundaram, Abhishekh Bit, NarendraShenoy, Graham Etchells, AtulBhargava and Paras Mal Jain. SNUG India -2016 will be winding up with the ‘Best Paper Awards & Lucky draw’ ceremony.
