Software developers can now use a new digital tool: AppAgile, the T-Systems development platform for readily available business applications and data analytics from the cloud, is now also available as a hybrid cloud based on Microsoft Azure. “AppAgile Azure Hybrid” is available from Microsoft Cloud Deutschland and globally as a modular Platform-as-a-Service offering based on Red Hat Open Shift container platform. Microsoft Cloud Deutschland provide Azure services out of German data centres. Customer data is processed and stored solely in Germany. Access to customer data is in the hand of data trustee T-Systems: Microsoft does not gain access without permission of data trustee or customers. The AppAgile hybrid approach enables customers to combine private, data-critical applications with public cloud offerings and nonetheless retain full control of their data. Both “AppAgile Azure Hybrid” and the platform services are offered as end-to-end managed services with a uniform service level agreement.
