C&G SYSTEMS INC. has released their CAD/CAM software "CG Series" specializing in the 3D design and manufacture of molds & dies, in the spring of 2011. The CG Series Software Suite is a “Partner Product” of the 3D CAD software, SOLIDWORKS. Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation boasts over 2.2 million SOLIDWORKS Licenses worldwide. In February 2014, our 3D CAD system, for press die design, "CG Press Design” for SOLIDWORKS, a part of the CG series, became a "Gold Product". “Gold Product” status is the final level of “conformance certification” awarded by SOLIDWORKS. This product has been certified as a CAD system for press die design, and is fully integrated in SOLIDWORKS. (It becomes the first achievement of this kind for a Japanese CAD/CAM product.)
Receiving this certification proves that there is high level of integration with SOLIDWORKS, which will enhance the users confidence in CG Press Design. In addition, the partnership with SOLIDWORKS, at the technical level has also been enhanced. This will greatly contribute to the quality of the product and the speed of development of functions, in the future.
With the globalization of the manufacturing market, “CG Series” was developed to target the mold and die market in China, ASEAN countries, and North America. It allows for a consistent operating environment, from die design to NC data creation. “CG Series” is offered as a mold & die industry CAD/CAM solution.
Also Mold design CAD, "CG MoldDesign for SOLIDWORKS" and a 3D CAM system "CG CAM-TOOL for SOLIDWORKS" are part of the CG series lineup. We are preparing for this Gold Certification of these two products also.
CGS Japan has been conducting aggressive marketing of this CG Series to the local market in Taiwan, China and ASEAN countries. We have been able to conclude agreements to sell the “CG Series” with resellers of local SOLIDWORKS in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan and China, starting two years ago.
In consideration of the culture and business practices of each country, we have negotiated individual agreements for each country. While we delegate the sales promotion and the user support after the introduction, we provide a localized "sales promotion kit" and "technical support kit" as a support tool. By using the "Business Partner Contract", we are utilizing the strengths and characteristics of each other. We are building partnerships with each reseller, and expanding sales channels.
