POLYPLAN Announces "Powered by SAP NETWEAVERT" Certification
Polyplan Technologies, the thought leader in collaborative Manufacturing Process ManagementT (cMPMT), and a participant in the SAP shop floor partner program, announced it has joined the elite group of SAP Partners to achieve "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification, which designates products that enable convenient deployment on SAP Web Application Server and are iView-accessible.
With Polyplan's cMPMT Powered by SAP NetWeaver, SAP customers will be able to streamline their design-to-production process by using the most efficient real-time visual manufacturing process planning system integrated with their SAP R/3® and mySAPT PLM solutions. Customers can significantly enhance their SAP New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) initiatives by systematically driving manufacturability, by controlling the manufacturing impact of changes and by reducing the ramp-up and production time and costs on the plant floor.
By allowing SAP customers to have an early look at the federated design work from multiple CAD/PDM systems, and staying in tune with engineering changes without the need to raise formal engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change orders (ECOs), they will start planning their manufacturing processes earlier, including the creation and maintenance of manufacturing BOMs, routings and rich 3D visual work instructions, service instructions, retrofit instructions, all the while reducing ECRs/ECOs by 50-75%.
