Processes and Systems for Product Development –InMediasP joined the ProSTEP iViP Association

InMediasP GmbH has designed development processes and methods in the areas of CAD, DMU and PDM for 10 years and offers their customers individual system- and integration solutions. Now the company located in Hennigsdorf near Berlin and Stuttgart joined the ProSTEP iViP Association. Considering the previous company history this is a consistent step for Dr. Jörg Lüddemann, Managing Partner of InMediasP: “Due to our roots we relate very well to the contents and goals of the ProSTEP iViP Association.“

InMediasP GmbH originates from the Fraunhofer-Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology (IPK) in Berlin. The research project “Integrated Virtual Product Creation“(iViP) which was lead-managed by the IPK has shaped the company just as much as the ProSTEP iViP Association, which to this day is working for the sustainability of the results achieved in this project. “As a member of ProSTEP iViP we are now looking forward to actively participate in the community of users, system providers, and research institutes to develop innovative topics as well as exchange experiences across companies“, Dr. Jörg Lüddemann points out. “Challenging and fascinating to us are topics like integrative project management using an Engineering Warehouse, mechatronic development processes and the change management of powerful system architectures!“

InMediasP mainly assists companies in the automobile, aircraft, railway vehicle, and machine building industries. In strategic customer projects InMediasP offers non provider-related support for all project stages from the conceptual design to the realization of individual solutions with state-of-the-art technologies.
