Location: Asia-Pacific Region, preferably Japan

The Market Research Analyst - Asia-Pacific Region supports CIMdata’s globally recognized PLM research group in the execution of CIMdata's annual research programs primarily focusing on activities in Japan, China, India, and South Korea.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Data collection, entry, analysis, and reporting in table/chart format
  • Support for other research topics
  • Business development tasks
  • Support for Knowledge Council research
  • Support for CIMdata events as required

 

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in Market Research environment or equivalent industry experience in the Asia-Pacific market.

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Japanese, and other languages.
  • Expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Quantitative thinking
  • Ability to work in an highly collaborative and distributed organization
