Managing Software Components in the Product Structure

In recent years, most of the products specific to the High-Tech industry are becoming increasingly complex as SW features are growing multitude along with the integrated HW functionalities. This evolution calls for a good traceability of both HW and SW components to be part of the Product Bill of Material. While the HW related features are fairly mature to define in PLM, mapping the SW assets as part of the Product Structure in PLM is an industry-leading Initiative.
