This presentation will lay out the elements of an enterprise MBSE solution strategy. CIMdata will address questions and hypotheses regarding current state enablers and barriers, future investment opportunities, and drivers crucial to an effective investment plan. Finally, major research CIMdata recently conducted on behalf of the A&D PLM Action Group member companies in collaboration with eight solution providers to answer these questions and test these hypotheses will be detailed.

Industry thought leaders and the solution provider community were asked to characterize MBSE’s current value footprint within industry and how that footprint will expand over time. Additionally, the study assessed the readiness of organizations and thought leaders to define and implement a cohesive MBSE strategy, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities associated with pursuing an MBSE vision.
