Jeff Plant, Director of Engineering Practices, Processes and Tools, The Boeing Company

Prior to assuming his current role Jeff was the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Chief Architect and Director of Airplane Level Engineering Integration. In this role, his responsibilities included leadership of the Commercial Airplanes systems engineering function and enterprise leadership of the Product Lifecycle Management function which involves functional excellence and integration of process and tool architecture, managing process and infrastructure investments across engineering, manufacturing & quality, supplier management and customer services.

Jeff joined The Boeing Company in 1991 as a Structures Engineer; designing aircraft fuselage components in support of product development and customer introductions. In 2010, As Director of Engineering 787-9 Airplane Level Integration leader, his role entailed integration and execution of engineering plan, leader of development, gated review process, airline customer and supplier executive interfaces; First Flight on 9/17/2013.

Jeff is an alumnus of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a graduate of Montana State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
