Yogesh Deo, DGM, Digital Product Development Systems & KBE, Tata Motors
Mr. Yogesh Deo has over 18 years of experience in the area of Knowledge-Based Engineering and Digital Product Development Systems with the responsibility for the implementation of methods, tools, and processes in an integrated PLM environment. His major work includes the implementation of key initiatives such as the development of in-house knowledge-based engineering kernel and applications, development of automation tools, utilities, interfaces and Web based applications for engineering and manufacturing systems, and the implementation of “Digital Manufacturing” in an end-to-end scenario. His JT-based work includes development of translators, implementation of JT at the shop floor level with “3D for ALL” initiative, and the availability of JT-based CAE post-processing results as a part of “Adding behavior to DMU.”
Yogesh has undertaken post graduate work in the area of “Solid Mechanics and Design.” He has published and presented technical work in the area of Digital Manufacturing and Knowledge- Based Engineering at various national and international forums.
He is also the recipient of many innovation awards including the TATA Innovista award, highest at TATA group level.
