Anders Romare, Vice President, Engineering Applications, Airbus

Anders Romare has a long experience of Product Development and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) primarily from the Automotive industry and the Aerospace industry. He currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Engineering applications within Airbus, being located at the Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, France. Mr. Romare’ s responsibility encompasses all IS/IT systems needed to support the development process (Engineering) within Airbus and includes CAD, PDM, CAE, and other engineering related systems. In addition, he is also responsible for the “end-to-end” PLM solution portfolio across all processes within the Airbus IS/IT organization.

Mr. Romare has previously held senior positions in the Volvo Group, most recently as VP for Industrial Solutions, one of the divisions within Volvo IT, and was responsible for PLM systems. Mr. Romare has also worked at the Volvo Group HQ with R&D coordination as well as being part of the executive team within Volvo Technology Corporation, the research and AE unit within AB Volvo.

Mr. Romare holds a M.Sc. degree from Chalmers University and an MBA from the University in Gothenburg.
