Gary Markovits, co-founder & CEO, Innovation Business Partners, Inc.
Gary Markovits is the co-founder and CEO of Innovation Business Partners, Inc. (IBP), an organization that helps high-growth companies, laboratories, and governments increase their capacity for innovation. Gary was previously at IBM where he was the worldwide manager of computer integrated manufacturing systems. He was also with IBM Research where he began the effort that eventually took IBM to first place in patents.
Gary has consulted on innovation for numerous Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, DoD, and the government of Singapore. He served on the National Innovation Initiative of the President’s Council on Competitiveness. At IBP he leads the development of problem solving tools, innovation network mapping, and a practice for cultural transformation based on collective intelligence.
