David Dronzkowski,Senior Manager – Systems and Components Quality Reliability Engineering, FCA US LLC

David Dronzkowski was appointed Senior Manager – Systems and Components Quality Reliability Engineering, FCA US LLC (FCA) in May 2012. In this position, he is responsible for supporting the engineering teams in developing high quality, reliable products through the use of proactive, preventative, and reactive quality tools.

Before joining FCA, Mr. Dronzkowski held various roles at Ford Motor Company (Ford) and Detroit Diesel. Most recently, he was a Program Manager in Ford’s Research and Advanced Engineering Division, focused on developing next generation diesel engines.

Mr. Dronzkowski is currently the Strategic Planning Committee Chair of the SAE Detroit Section and served as Section Chair in 2014. He is a named inventor on eight patents associated with the control of diesel engines and their associated componentry.

Mr. Dronzkowski holds a Master of Automotive Systems Engineering degree from the University of Michigan – Dearborn (2002), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (1996). He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
