Anurag has roughly 28 years of experience in the Industry and in Consulting arena, and has been with TCS since past 13 years. He possess rich Industry experience in achieving Business Transformation comprising Product Innovation, Product Design and Development, Plant Engineering, Service & Quality and Marketing. He has worked with Aerospace, Automotive, Farm Equipment, Capital Goods, Consumer Durables, Telecom, Chemicals, Agriculture and Hi-Tech industries, in different capacity and currently plays advisory roles for major programs. Anurag is a Mechanical Engineering graduate, and has worked with the TCS clients in North America, Europe, UK and Japan.
The Value added contribution by an OEM towards the Product design is reducing. The core contents of future product structures are coming from collaborators or providers, which leads to concerns and challenges in regards to total ownership and liabilities. A lot of economical focus is shifting to data generated by products and services, but the real usage of that data is more popular on Commercial side of the business. Unless there is seamless connectivity between Commercial Data of the products and services, with Industrial and Engineering Data of product, an organization would always face the drag, which in some case may reduce a company to just merely as product / infrastructure provider. To sustain innovation, and differentiation - every product and service company needs to match the pace of digitalization in Product Engineering arena.
