Siemens Xcelerator Portfolio

Xcelerator combines the full portfolio of Siemens software for design, engineering, and manufacturing with an expanded Mendix multi-experience application development platform. With the addition of IoT app services powered by MindSphere, digital engineering, and system integrations, the Mendix platform can now be used to unlock even more insight from any system and bi-directionally connect it to applications and devices.

To develop tomorrow’s smart, connected products that meet the right functional performance requirements, manufacturers need an innovation platform that provides an integrated view of a wide range of business disciplines. At the same time, manufacturers also need the most advanced tools for individual productivity all along the innovation process. The Siemens Xcelerator portfolio supports both decision-making, and the resulting actions that need to be taken, by delivering deep engineering and operational insight and action-taking (authoring/execution) solutions on all levels, from chip, to board, to component to full system and system of systems, all while facilitating personalized data streams between specialists, systems, and things.

The Xcelerator portfolio has three pillar characteristics.

Comprehensive digital twin

Siemens enables customers in discrete and process industries to create a robust and actionable digital twin. Informed decisions can be made, and actions taken, through a closed-loop created between the virtual and physical, hardware and software, and design and manufacturing worlds.

Personal and adaptable

Siemens provides personalized applications using AI algorithms to adapt the UI to usage experience. Siemens also enables personalized experiences through low code application creation for connectivity to critical business appliations within a company’s digital enterprise and external value chain.

Open, modern, flexible ecosystem

Access to the most diverse field of technology partners in an open ecosystem gives Siemens' customers more opportunity to build on their IT investments. Siemens offers a rapid application development platform and microservices along with native cloud and cloud-connected applications to suit any IT strategy.
