Bruce Gabel, Technical Fellow – Knowledge-Based Engineering, Spirit AeroSystems
Bruce Gabel has over 28 years of experience in aerospace, working for Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems in design engineering and knowledge-based engineering, supporting multiple commercial and defense aircraft programs for various OEMs. He has most recently been working on Spirit’s Digital Transformation by creating a digital thread linking engineering requirements through improved work instructions to execution on the shop floor. As Spirit’s Technical Fellow for Knowledge-Based Engineering, Bruce architected the system used to maintain this digital thread. Bruce holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University.
