Andreas Graichen is the Group Manager Industrialization & Digitalization, Additive Manufacturing at Siemens Energy AB. Andreas started his career in manufacturing at ABB STAL. Since 2015 he has been involved in expanding Siemens Energy AM R&D's activities towards a fully upgraded onsite factory for Additive Manufacturing (AM). As the project manager of the digitalization program for AM Andreas has laid the strategic foundation of the roadmap “to make 3D-printing in metal as simple as today’s paper printing”. In the global setup of Siemens Gas Turbine activities, Andreas is now responsible for the digitalization of AM. In 2017, he was appointed Principal Key Expert for Manufacturing Engineering. Andreas has broadened his activities in recent years from a technical and digitalization focus to more business-focused activities, even co-authoring the SIEMENS Energy Whitepaper on “Digital Warehousing.”
