Melissa Harvey, Product Data Management Specialist, The Boeing Company
Melissa Harvey has been with the Boeing Company going on 10 years with the majority of those years in the MBD process and tools development space including Engineering & Manufacturing Visualization (CAD, 3DPDF), and MBD Supplier Distribution. For the past year she has been involved in Industry Data Standards support maturing data exchange methodologies for ISO 10303 STEP both internally and externally to Boeing. Melissa is responsible for facilitating the Aerospace and Defense PLM Action Group MBD team (A&D PAG) which is an association of aerospace companies working to solve common MBD pain points in the industry. This working group is writing a series of position papers on the Minimum MBD Digital Thread required for design, manufacture, and certification. Melissa has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from City University, an Associates in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Tech, and a Model Based Systems Engineering certification from MIT.
