Patrick A. Hillberg Ph.D., Adjunct Professor, Oakland University
As an author and speaker, Dr. Hillberg addresses organizational dysfunction and how it inhibits innovation and leads to unintended scandals. He brings decades of industry experience in advanced manufacturing and managing product lifecycles.
Dr. Hillberg teaches graduate courses in engineering management at Oakland University and was recently the Workforce Development lead for Siemens P.L.M. (now Siemens Digital Industries Software). He collaborates with industry, academia, and workforce organizations to develop talent management strategies and advises numerous education and workforce committees.
Dr. Hillberg has decades of industry experience designing, developing, and leading teams in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Digital Manufacturing, Process Planning, Robotics, and Machine Vision applications in Aerospace, Shipbuilding, Automotive, Construction, Packaging, and other industries.
Dr. Hillberg holds the following degrees:

- M.S.E. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan
- Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Oakland University
