As a mechanical engineer and trained in Instructional Design, Jennifer uses her technical skills to develop instructor-led and web-based training products for PLM and CAD software users
Jennifer has spent the past 25 years at Rand Worldwide working with the ASCENT courseware division, creating several customized learning programs to help support successful PLM implementations. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Dalhousie University.
Coming into and out of the pandemic, companies have been driven swiftly towards digitization and have been forced to work remotely with their peers in a collaborative environment, relying heavily on the PLM tools and processes that have been put in place in order to continue working together to properly manage the design-through-manufacturing process. The adoption of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), digital threads, and digital twins is more critical than ever before. In order to efficiently work in this new environment while maintaining a consistent flow of information throughout the organization, an understanding of the processes and workflows unique to each organization, is key.
This presentation will explore ways to help organizations capture their workflows to create unique training programs that follow the organizational processes adopted by the company, leading to the increased productivity of their staff.
