Cristina Paniagua, Ph.D., Researcher, LuleƄ University of Technology

Dr. Cristina Paniagua is a researcher and academic in System of Systems and Microservices for Industry 4.0 and an expert on interoperability among heterogeneous systems. She received her M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Zaragoza, Spain, in 2017. In 2020, she earned her Ph.D. in Cyber-Physical Systems from LuleƄ University of Technology and was appointed Senior Lecturer in 2023. She has significantly contributed to advancing industrial automation and integration throughout her career. She has participated in major European projects such as Productive 4.0, Arrowhead Tools, and currently Arrowhead f-PVN, focusing on enhancing the efficiency and connectivity of cyber-physical systems via the translation of industrial data models.
