One of the most significant disruptors for today’s PLM market is cloud computing and the proliferation of PLM tools from the broad reach that the cloud has introduced. A true disruptor to tomorrow’s PLM market will be the data portability in cloud applications, where the challenge lies in the myriad of ways to represent digital product data. The activity of switching platforms costs manufacturers time and money. Jonathan Scott, Chief Architect at Razorleaf, will discuss these challenges around data portability, the best practices for data management, and how to unlock customers’ product data with the CLOVER platform.
