Spatial Corp. ( http://www.spatial.com ) and EtherAct, an international provider ofCAD solutions, announced that the latest release of EtherAct's cadlab product incorporates the power, precision and functionality of the 3D ACIS Modeler.
cadlab:2004 was designed to provide Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) users with solutions to empower designers. EtherAct was able to incorporate the 3D ACIS Modeler into cadlab:2004 in just 10 days.
"As a member of the IntelliCAD consortium we evaluated ACIS against other competitors in the market place and made our decision based on the proven technology, superior quality and excellent support," said Chetan Venkatesh, CEO, EtherAct. "ACIS has helped us to reduce our development costs and decrease our time to market, allowing us to engage with customers that would have looked elsewhere for the required 3D functionality. The ACIS subsystem combined with the straightforward licensing procedure allowed us to accomplish in weeks what we expected to take months."

"Our pricing is customer-centric, we continually strive to provide the highest quality subsystems available, and we work closely with our customers to provide the support and services they need to thrive. We welcome EtherAct as a customer and look forward to watching their continued growth in years to come."
cadlab's sophisticated 3D capability allows creation of high-quality 3D surface models which can be displayed as wire-frame, hidden lines removed or with surface shading.
