PROJEMAR Joins Bentley Enterprise License Subscription Program
Bentley Systems, Incorporated ( http://www.bentley.com/bentleywire ) announced that PROJEMAR, Brazil's leading ship design and offshore engineering company, has joined Bentley's Enterprise License Subscription (ELS) program.
The Bentley ELS program grants organizations unlimited access to the company's entire software portfolio for a fixed annual fee. The portfolio covers all the AEC software needs of subscribers, providing building, plant, civil, and geospatial solutions and supporting a managed environment for their AEC information.
"We've been motivated to expand our use of Bentley products for many reasons. With the ELS, we can do so more economically and with more organizational mobility," said PROJEMAR President Tomazo Garzia Neto. "For us, the ELS represents a significant business advantage."
Immediately, the Bentley ELS gives PROJEMAR a way to roll out a managed environment built on Bentley ProjectWise, the collaboration server within the Bentley portfolio.
A managed environment allows valuable AEC information to be confidently shared, synchronized, and secured. Fast-track projects can be managed better by ensuring that project teams can work on separate project components in parallel.
The ELS also grants PROJEMAR unlimited access to the entire Bentley PlantSpace line of design solutions, and to Bentley's plot management server, a product for network plotting, digital sharing, and digital archiving of AEC plot sets.
Founded in 1969, PROJEMAR has produced cutting-edge designs for sophisticated floating production, storage, and off-loading units (FPSOs), semi-submersible floating production units (FPUs), dynamically positioned (DP) shuttle tankers, supply vessels, tankers, container ships, and self-unloading bulk carriers. Its projects include the largest FPU installed in the Campos Basin, the semi-submersible Petrobras 40, as well as FPSOs for the Barracuda and Caratinga Field (Petrobras 43 and Petrobras 48) and for Albacora Leste (Petrobras 50).
