Magma Joins Industry Standards Organization Accellera
MagmaŽ Design Automation Inc. ( http://www.magma-da.com ) became a Corporate member of Accellera, the electronics industry organization focused on electronic design automation (EDA) standards. By joining Accellera, Magma has pledged to become actively involved in defining and evolving the SystemVerilog standard, implementation efforts, and interoperability definitions.
"SystemVerilog is being adopted by some of our high-end customers and, being a technology leader, we want to be at the leading edge of the adoption curve," said Yatin Trivedi, Magma's director of product marketing. "Blast Create has been proven to provide a predictable handoff to ASIC vendors, and Magma is now the leading EDA vendor in the integrated RTL-to-GDSII implementation market. We joined Accellera to ensure that our users' concerns about interoperability among all EDA vendors are adequately addressed and in a timely fashion."
