Ansoft Corporation Fourth Quarter Results-18% Increase in Revenue
Ansoft Corporation announced financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended April 30, 2004.
Revenue for the fourth quarter totaled $17.8 million, an increase of 18% compared to $15.1 million reported in the previous fiscal year's fourth quarter. Net income for the fourth quarter was $2.8 million, or $0.24 per share, as compared to a net income of $2.5 million, or $0.21 per share in the previous fiscal year's fourth quarter.
Revenue for the fiscal year totaled $54.7 million, compared to $47.3 million reported in the previous fiscal year. Net income for the fiscal year was $2.6 million as compared to a net loss of $3.1 million in the previous fiscal year.
"Our revenue growth for the year was 15%," said Nicholas Csendes, Ansoft's President and Chief Executive Officer "For the next fiscal year, we expect to see revenue growth of 12% to 15% for the full year as well as increasing profitability."
