CFdesign v7.0 is Solid Edge Certified Select CFD Solution
Blue Ridge Numerics received formal notification that its recently released CFdesign® v7.0 fluid flow and thermal simulation software satisfies all requirements of the Solid Edge ( http://www.solidedge.com ) Certified Select Partner Solution Program.
This important designation assures Solid Edge customers CFdesign v7.0 provides the highest level integrated solution. Today's announcement reaffirms the on-going partnership between Blue Ridge Numerics and Solid Edge to provide an integrated virtual prototyping solution.
"Our corporate mission has always been to empower product development teams with an affordable, easy-to-learn, easy-to-use CFD tool that is an extension of the 3D MCAD system," stated Blue Ridge Numerics president, Ed Williams. CFdesign v7.0 includes the industry-first Motion Module which puts native Solid Edge v15 components and assemblies in motion, showing the interaction and effects between the physical device and its fluids environment. The simulation is associative with Solid Edge v15 throughout the design optimization process.
The new CFdesign Motion Module combines with Solid Edge v15 to provide an effective virtual prototyping environment to accelerate the cost-effective production of high performance pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, turbo machinery, valves, pistons, hydraulic rams, and numerous other products.
Blue Ridge Numerics will provide more information on CFdesign v7.0 at the Solid Edge User Summit in Orlando, June 2-4. Attendees are invited to visit the CFdesign exhibit (Booth 102) in the Voyager Program exhibit hall located in the Disney Coronado Springs Resort.
