MatrixOne Brings PLM to Design Automation Conference

MatrixOne, Inc. announced a major showing at the 41st Design Automation Conference (DAC) that commenced today in San Diego. Yesterday, MatrixOne announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Synchronicity Software, Inc. (see related press release and information at http://www.matrixone.com/synchronicity ), a leading provider in electronic design management, team collaboration and intellectual property (IP) reuse solutions for the global electronics industry. Executives from MatrixOne and Synchronicity will be on-hand in the Synchronicity booth (# 3142), to share details of how together, MatrixOne and Synchronicity will enable global design teams to work together in real time with their development partners, customers, and suppliers to reduce design and development costs, leverage design expertise, improve quality, and accelerate time to market.

MatrixOne's PLM solutions will be also be demonstrated as part of the recently announced Mobile Engineering Platform from Intel and IBM, in the Intel booth (# 1031). MatrixOne will be demonstrating how MatrixOne Team CentralT can be utilized as a design collaboration tool to provide Integrated Circuit designers with a secure, structured product content distribution environment that enables them to work with customers and partners in shared workspaces online, wherever they are physically located.

MatrixOne will also be participating in the suites of Cadence Design Systems (booth # 2441). New Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design collaboration and management solutions will be demonstrated which are the result of the alliance between MatrixOne and Cadence, announced in May 2003.
