Maury Microwave Selects Agilent Technologies' EDA Tools to Streamline RF, Microwave Design Flow
Agilent Technologies Inc. announced that Maury Microwave has adopted Agilent's Advanced Design System (ADS) electronic design automation (EDA) software platform to help streamline its RF and microwave design flow. The multiyear agreement includes a long-term support contract and licensing for Agilent ADS and several of Agilent's circuit and system simulators for device characterization of microwave components and instruments operating from DC to 110 GHz. Maury Microwave's products include RF device characterization solutions, precision calibration standards, noise calibration systems and components, and RF adapters and components.
"We selected Agilent EEsof EDA products because they set the standard in our industry for design and simulation of RF and microwave components and measurement systems," said Marc Maury, president of Maury Microwave. "Standardizing on their EDA tools is consistent with our productive history and ongoing relationship with Agilent."
Agilent ADS offers the industry's most complete front-to-back RF and microwave circuit and system design flow solution. Its advanced simulation and verification technologies aid in the development of complex discrete RF/microwave modules and integrated MMICs (microwave monolithic integrated circuits) for products such as cellular phones, pagers, wireless and broadband networks, and radar and satellite communications systems.
