IronCAD Licenses HOOPSŪ Framework From TSA

IronCAD ( http://www.ironcad.com ) and Tech Soft America (TSA) ( http://www.hoops3d.com ) announced a licensing agreement whereby IronCAD will leverage TSA's HOOPS 3D Application Framework (HOOPS/3dAF) to deliver their new free IronCAD viewer.

Shaun Murphy, Vice President of Marketing for IronCAD noted, "HOOPS/3dAF encapsulates much of the graphics and framework that we would have had to spend time and money developing ourselves. It enabled us to quickly deliver a powerful solution to our end users for the viewing and navigation of IronCAD models and assemblies while we focused our resources on our core areas of expertise to best serve our growing and loyal customer base."

HOOPS/3dAF is an extensible, high-level component that simplifies the design, development and maintenance of high-performance, interactive 2D/3D applications for Windows, UNIX, LINUX, MAC OS X, Windows CE devices or the Web. Companies such as IronCAD, SolidWorks, PTC, MSC.Software, Autodesk/CAiCE, Bentley/Infrasoft, KubotekUSA, Proficiency, LK and over 175 others license HOOPS technology to help them build better engineering software products faster.
