Interoperable CFD Solution with PTC Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0
Blue Ridge Numerics, announced that its CFdesign v7.0 software is available as an interoperability solution with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0.
CFdesign v7.0 integrates full-functionality fluid flow and thermal simulation capabilities within Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0, creating a digital prototyping environment ideally suited for design optimization early in the product development process. The end results, according to CFdesign customers, are an average 70% reduction in project expenses related to physical prototyping and testing while re-capturing up to 65% of typical project schedules to focus on product innovations.
Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 is the newest version of PTC's product design and development solution. Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 offers ASME Y14.41 compliant 3D drawing capability incorporated directly into the core product and interoperability with all the major CAD systems including UGS PLM I-DEAS®, CATIA® V5 and UGNX. Additionally, this version delivers major improvements in software usability by extending the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire User Model to sheet metal, simulation and other areas of the solution.
