Leading Machine Tool Builder and CNC Simulation Software Vendor Join Forces

CGTech and Makino have joined forces under CGTech's Technology Partner program in an agreement to build virtual machine models for simulation using VERICUT® software.

Makino, with US-operations based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a global provider of advanced machining technology and application support for the metalcutting, parts production and die/mold industries. Makino is dedicated to reducing costs from machining operations.

California-based CGTech is the developer of VERICUT® software. VERICUT simulates CNC machining to identify errors in the tool path program (such as collisions, over-travel, gouges, etc.). Using VERICUT, manufacturers can verify the accuracy of the program before it is loaded on the machine, reducing or eliminating the need for the time-consuming manual prove-out process and minimizing material costs. VERICUT also improves machining efficiency by optimizing cutting speeds.

As the CNC simulation solution for Makino's state-of-the-art machine technology, VERICUT provides users with a method to evaluate machine capabilities, reduce implementation time, and simulate the NC machining process in order to prevent collisions and protect their investment.

Makino manufacturing and service centers are located in the United States, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Italy, France, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, China, Mexico, Brazil, and India, and are supported by a worldwide distributor network. For more information call 1.800.552.3288, or visit http://makino.com
