Mastercam #1 Among CAM Manufacturers Again
The most recent analysis of CAM software seats, produced by CIMdata, Inc., shows that CNC Software's Mastercam® CAD/CAM software is first once again. With 79,962 installed seats worldwide, Mastercam has almost twice that of the closest competitor. CNC Software President Mark Summers says, "The competition is getting tough in the CAM market, and we are thrilled to be at the top of the rankings for the 10th year running. CIMdata Chairman Alan Christman added, "With 13.3% of the global market, almost twice that of the nearest CAM vendor, CNC Software is the leader on the basis of both industrial and educational seat count.
