Intergraph Solutions and IFS Form Strategic Alliance to Supply Business Software to DoD Market
Intergraph Solutions Group (ISG), an information technology consulting firm, has signed a strategic service partner agreement with IFS to serve the North American aerospace and defense market. The agreement allows ISG to market and sell IFS ApplicationsT business software, as well as provide implementation services, to the U.S. Departments of Defense (DoD) and Homeland Security, and the aerospace and defense industry.
"The alliance between Intergraph and IFS provides the unique combination of IFS' cost-effective, component-based software solution and the defense, aerospace, and logistics know-how of Intergraph," said Mike Brashear, Vice President of Intergraph Solutions Group. "This combination provides a powerful team capable of solving today's complex maintenance, repair, and overhaul problems."
"Through our alliance with Intergraph Solutions Group, IFS further strengthens its position as a leading software supplier to the North American armed forces and defense industry," said IFS North America president Michael Nordin. Their expertise, combined with IFS' industry-specific business solution, provides an unbeatable combination for the DoD market."
With aviation and defense being one of IFS' targeted market segments, IFS Applications includes advanced standard functionality that meets the requirements of defense manufacturers and national defense organizations.
