Baan Consulting, gedas and aimtec Establish Strategic Partnership
gedas deutschland GmbH from Berlin and aimtec GmbH from Löhne, German have reached a strategic partnership agreement concerning Baan consulting. The goal of the agreement is to be able to offer medium-sized businesses a complete spectrum of services ranging from process consulting to the introduction, integration and operation of Baan system environments, and including application management. Baan is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software from SSA Global Technologies Inc. that has been successfully implemented by approximately one million users worldwide in the manufacturing and service industries, as well as in public administration.
aimtec GmbH brings its comprehensive expertise in introducing and integrating Baan solutions to the partnership. This includes consulting, maintenance and support, as well as the acquisition of required licenses. The company also serves as an official SSA global partner. Since 1983, gedas deutschland GmbH has been successfully active as a process consultant, system integrator and outsourcing partner in the automotive and manufacturing industries. In its strategic partnership with aimtech, gedas is responsible for operating the Baan system environment in its data processing centers.
As Wolfgang Schmälzle, manager of the gedas Operational Services Business Unit in Germany, says, "With the successful implementation of Baan solutions at Balda AG, Fennel Systems GmbH and Fennel Technologies AG, aimtec has gained first-hand experience and is therefore an ideal partner for us."
