COADE and Alias Agree to Bundle ISOGEN With CADWorx Suite
COADE, Inc. (USA) and Alias, Ltd (UK) announced that the two software companies have signed an agreement under which COADE will bundle the full Alias' ISOGEN program for automated piping isometrics into CADWorx Plant Professional, COADE's AutoCAD®-based software for plant design
Thomas Van Laan, the president of COADE, described the benefits of this agreement for both companies and their respective users. "Bundling ISOGEN into CADWorx is an ideal solution for our customers because it makes it easier for these plant designers to have seamless, fully automatic isometric output capabilities." Van Laan said. "And, it benefits both companies in unique ways. We can leverage the highly respected ISOGEN capabilities, while Alias can benefit from CADWorx' increasing user base and gain exposure among our 60 dealers worldwide."
ISOGEN is considered the industry standard for high quality, fully automated piping isometrics. CADWorx has become an industry leader in plant design because it offers quick and easy set up; an open, standard platform for interoperability with other AutoCAD applications; scalability to support most any size project; and user-modifiable language files to allow designers to work in their own languages.
The CADWorx series includes CADWorx Plant Professional, CADWorx P&ID Professional and other application-specific modules. CADWorx Plant Professional, a comprehensive plant design suite, includes piping, steel, HVAC and equipment modeling, ISOGEN, NavisWorks Roamer, and live database capabilities with links to external project databases. CADWorx P&ID Professional, a comprehensive solution for process and instrumentation diagramming, includes automated instrument loop diagrams, live database capabilities with links to external project databases, and COADE's new Internet Publisher (IP), a tool for publishing projects created in the program. Other CADWorx modules include CADWorx Steel, a standalone module with powerful tools for steel modeling and layout, and CADWorx Equipment, COADE's parametric equipment modeler.
CADWorx offers intelligent drawing-to-database connectivity, advanced levels of automation and easy-to-use design techniques. CADWorx leads the industry by offering bi-directional integration between CAD and stress analysis, linking CADWorx with COADE's industry-leading software programs for the design and analysis of piping systems, CAESAR II.
