TR Engineering Invests in MSC.ADAMS to Improve Virtual Product Development

MSC.Software Corp. ( http://www.mscsoftware.com ) announced that TR Engineering, a German automotive services supplier, has invested in MSC.Software's VPD products including MSC.ADAMS and ADAMS/Car.

"Faster, better, safer-those are the main goals in automotive development-no matter if for racing or for street cars," said E. Dohrer, Manager Development at TR Engineering. "With ADAMS/Car we are sure to reach those goals. MSC.ADAMS the state of the art tool for multi body simulation and it's not only our preferred simulation environment for chassis development, it is also the most requested one by our customers. Since development time is short within the motorsports market, we have to simulate to find the right solution early enough for the next race. Before using ADAMS/Car, we used a different, less customizable simulation tool, but we needed more flexibility. Thanks to the open architecture of MSC.ADAMS we are now able to completely build our own models and to even better understand the chassis we develop or customize. For a company such as TR Engineering, one of the few companies in Germany offering dynamic analysis on a service base, it is important to have reliable software and an experienced software provider to keep this high standard. With MSC.ADAMS and MSC.Software we are sure to get both-a partner that understands our needs and supports our work within the motorsport and consumer area and a software which is reliable and flexible."
