Leading Microprocessor Manufacturer Adopts ProTiming for Timing Optimized Design Flow
Prolific Inc., a provider of design optimization and automated standard cell creation software, announced that AMD selected ProTimingT software to optimize microprocessor designs. By integrating ProTiming into the implementation phase of the design flow, AMD designers can do final-pass optimizations for timing, power and signal integrity during sign-off.

ProTiming's integration into PrimeTime provides an easy to use, no-risk solution for final-pass timing closure. The software starts optimization after other tools are finished, makes use of cells already existing in the library, and can result in up to a 20% improvement in performance and power without modifying RTL or adding complex cells to the design. ProTiming is in use by top semiconductor companies around the world.
