Cimatron Partners With JY Solutec to Distribute Cimatron Solutions in South Korea
Cimatron Ltd. ( http://www.cimatron.com/ ) announced the merger between Cimatron Korea and Korea Cimatron Technologies (KCT), a joint venture company with JY Solutec Co., Ltd., to form a single, unified representative Cimatron office in South Korea. Effective July 1, 2004, KCT (in operation since January 2003), will be the major Cimatron distributor in South Korea.
Founded in 1976, JY Solutec is the largest mold manufacturer in Korea. The company has maintained a competitive edge in three diverse businesses: plastic mold manufacturing, parts suppliers to major IT, semiconductor and electronic appliance industries, and system engineering. JY Solutec has a customer base of internationally acclaimed corporations, including Thomson, Philips, Lear, JCI, Mitsubishi, Samsung, LG and Texas Instruments.
Hak Kwon Kim, President & CEO of JY Solutec, comments, "This is another important step in expanding the partnership agreement with Cimatron. KCT will continue to provide its customers with Cimatron's strong and reliable CAD/CAM software solutions."
N. J. Yoo has been nominated as Chief Executive Officer of KCT, and former Cimatron Korea representative office's General Manager, Wanki Kim, has been nominated as Vice President and Manager (acting) of KCT.
