Butler International Makes Strategic Investment in Virtual Product Development Solutions from MSC.Software

MSC.Software Corp. ( http://www.mscsoftware.com ) announced that Butler International, Inc. has purchased more than $400,000 worth of additional tokens for the MSC.MasterKey Licensing System from MSC.Software. The MSC.MasterKey license gives customers the ability to take advantage of the breadth and depth of MSC.Software's portfolio within a flexible licensing system, allowing them to use whatever MSC.Software simulation tools they want, whenever they need them. Butler's increased investment is based on a significant increase in project requirements from several of Butler's largest and long-term clients in the aerospace and defense/space industries.

"When we expanded the campus licensing concept to our entire customer base in 2003, we knew that customers would purchase additional tokens and increase their investment in VPD when they realized the kinds of ROI we incorporate into our products and services," said Frank Perna, chairman and CEO of MSC.Software. "Butler is an excellent example for product development organizations in that they are continually increasing their VPD maturity and performing more simulations with more products to solve complex engineering problems. Our success is directly linked to the successes of our customers and this increased investment by Butler is a great validation for the depth and breadth of the product portfolio and the flexibility of the MasterKey system."

"Butler is committed to developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. The MSC.MasterKey System offers Butler the flexibility and enhanced technology to increase customer value by minimizing downtime, improving productivity, and achieving greater cost efficiencies for our customers," commented Edward M. Kopko, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Butler International, Inc.
