Avatech Solutions Announces AutoCAD 2005 Webcast Series

Avatech Solutions, Inc. announced that it will be hosting a series of free webcasts as a follow up to Avatech's popular Full Speed Ahead and Autodesk's Go Further Tour. The webcasts, held throughout July and led by Avatech's top industry experts, highlight the new features of the AutoCAD® 2005 family of products as well as Inventor 9. Registrants who attend the webcast and fill out an evaluation will receive a 30-day trial of all software where available.

The educational webcasts will demonstrate how companies can use the software to create better products, communicate and share design intent, increase productivity, and maximize flexibility and profits in the following main areas:

•  Building Design. Participants will see Architectural Desktop, Revit and Building Systems in action and learn new features to bring immediate productivity to the architectural industry.

•  Infrastructure. Avatech has the scoop on the biggest industry innovations in fifteen years, and will share this knowledge through a demo of Land Desktop.

•  Manufacturing. Participants will see Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical in action and get a look at the updates in Autodesk's manufacturing software that will help reduce design time.

The new features of AutoCAD and VIZ will be featured in separate webcasts. All online events will be held at 9 AM, Noon and 3 PM Eastern to accommodate all time zones as follows:

•  Tuesday, July 13-AutoCAD

•  Wednesday, July 14-Architectural Desktop

•  Thursday, July 15-Land Desktop (no product trial available)

•  Tuesday, July 20-Inventor

•  Wednesday, July 21-Revit

•  Thursday, July 22-AutoCAD Electrical

•  Tuesday, July 27-Inventor II: Rendering and Animations

•  Wednesday, July 28-VIZ

•  Thursday, July 29-Building Systems
