Philip Morris International Selects Agile as Global Packaging Solution
Agile Software Corporation ( http://www.agile.com ) has signed a software and services contract to provide Philip Morris International (PMI), an operating company of Altria Group Inc. with the Agile PLM solution. The Agile PLM solution will form the core of Philip Morris' Global Integrated Packaging System. "Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, PMI is one of the world's leading tobacco companies.
"To compete effectively, consumer packaged goods companies must launch successful new products and brands quickly, while leveraging external partners including globally dispersed packaging and artwork partners. The CPG industry is under increasing pressure to go faster, build brand equity and increase product introduction success rates within strict margin, quality and regulatory compliance constraints," said Jay Fulcher, Agile president and COO. "We are pleased that Philip Morris International has selected Agile PLM as its packaging solution, and we look forward to working with them to deliver a rapid deployment and ensure their success."
