Informative Graphics® Updates Free DWG Viewer

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) ( http://www.infograph.com ) announced that its new version of the Free DWG Viewer supports AutoCAD 2005 DWG/DXF files. The Free DWG Viewer allows users to open and view native AutoCAD r12 to 2005 files, including xrefs without requiring the CAD application. The software also views DWF and IGC's content sealed format (CSF) with Visual RightsT persistent file security.

The Free DWG Viewer is built on IGC's Brava!® viewer technology and the latest DWGdirect 1.11 code from the Open Design Alliance ( http://www.opendesign.com/ ). The new version opens and views native AutoCAD drawing files faster and adds complete support for AutoCAD 2005 entities.

Free DWG Viewer users can upgrade to a Brava Desktop version that provides view, print, and measurement for AutoCAD DWG, DXF, and DWG and CSF for a $29.00 (U.S.) annual subscription fee. It also includes the ability to publish AutoCAD files to CSF with Visual RightsT security controls. This allows drawing designs to be distributed with persistent rights management and be viewed by IGC's free Brava Reader.
