Aras To Speak at CMII World 2004 Conference
Aras Corporation ( http://www.aras.com ) announced that Terry Quan, Aras vice president of consulting, will speak at the Institute for Configuration Management's upcoming annual international conference and expo, CMII World 2004.
The conference will be held on August 1 - 4, 2004 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. Mr. Quan, a CMII certified practitioner, will present on Monday, August 2 and Tuesday, August 3 at 1:00 pm eastern. His presentation will cover CMII principles within PLM automation technology for product definition and enterprise change management across a company and with suppliers and customers.
"The CMII principles are a widely recognized set of best practices for configuration management and engineering change," indicated Quan. "PLM technologies automate the CMII practices to both improve process efficiencies and provide actionable reports and metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities that link directly to a company's strategic goals."
