Formation Systems Names Trent Landreth Chief Executive Officer

Formation Systems announced the appointment of Trent Landreth as president and chief executive officer. Mr. Landreth replaces Daniel Keelan, who has been named chairman of the board and chief strategy officer. Prior to this announcement, Landreth was the chief operating officer of the company.

These appointments mark an important milestone for the company. "Under Dan's leadership, Formation Systems' market penetration grew to over 15,000 licensed users," said Mike Krupka, Managing Director of Bain Capital Ventures. "Dan ran the company well and built a great team, including recruiting Trent and making him COO. Together, they made the company the success it is today."

Prior to joining Formation Systems, Mr. Landreth was the chief technology officer at i2 Technologies. Previously, Mr. Landreth was a principal and co-founder of Stonebridge Technologies, a major systems integrator headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
