Document Output Management Integration for ENOVIA LCA

The standardized PLM Integration from SEAL Systems is enhanced. Now a new linkage from the output management system PLOSSYS® netdome to the PDM solution ENOVIA LCS has been implemented.

ENOVIA LCA from Dassault Systems is mainly used for the administration of model data in connection with CATIA V5 and is characterized by its extensive 3D and collaborative engineering functions. ENOVIA LCA administers CAD models, drawings and the derived netural formats for long term archiving.

SEAL Systems has implemented an interface for document management in co-operation with Dassault Systems and Cenit AG. For output and distribution of documents, a document list with the standard search functions is drawn up at the LCA workplace and delivered to the print order dialogue (PAD) of PLOSSYS netdome. PAD allows the input of output parameters and the transfer to the PLOSSYS® server.

A new repro list server process interprets the document list, retrieves the referenced documents from the transfer area of the PDM server and generates output sets for PLOSSYS® netdome or gXnetplot.

This system architecture provides the LCA user extensive output management functions and all devices and distribution methods of the DOM server. The realization on basis of a repro list server guarantees optimized data transfer and easy installation on distributed networks. The procedure is already running at well-known CATIA and ENOVIA LCA users in Denmark.

Johannes Hesel is responsible for partner management at SEAL Systems: "With this interface, SEAL Systems has confirmed its role as an innovation leader for technical output management solutions on the market. We are the first company, which offers a complete integrated functional document distribution out of ENOVIA LCA. Our partners and our innovative customers will help us in the future, to expand this position."
