Magma Kicks Off Users Conference Series in India
Magma® Design Automation Inc. announced the first Magma Users Summit on Integrated Circuits (MUSIC) of 2004, at the Hotel Leela Palace in Bangalore, India on August 3-4. MUSIC-India will feature 11 Magma user presentations, three advanced technology tutorials and an interactive session with Magma's R&D. The keynote address entitled "The Cost of Quality: A Silicon Design Perspective" will be given by Bobby Mitra, PhD., managing director of Texas Instruments.
In addition to user presentations, Premal Buch, general manager of Magma's Analysis and Signoff business unit, and Kam Kittrell, general manager of Magma's Logic Design business unit, will offer technical updates and tutorials on low-power design methodology, third-party tool correlation and RTL synthesis and prototyping.
"To meet the rapidly growing demand for its products, Magma has ramped up very quickly in India," said Dr. Anand Anandkumar, managing director of Magma Design Automation in India. "There are already many designs in India targeted for 130- and 90-nanometer process technologies that have either taped out or are currently being implemented with Magma software. We are pleased to bring the MUSIC event to India to better support the growing adoption of the Magma software in this important region."
