SAP Names Donna Troy to Oversee Partner Channel, Drive Growth for SAP

SAP AG ( http://www.sap.com ) announced that it has named Donna Troy, an industry expert with more than 25 years experience leading international channel and business development programs, as senior vice president of its global small and midsize business (SMB) initiative. In the new position, Troy will continue SAP's momentum in providing solutions to small and midsize businesses, and will be responsible for driving and growing market share, building and managing an effective global partner channel, and developing and executing a customer-, partner- and market-driven strategy. She will report to Leo Apotheker, executive board member and president of global field operations, SAP AG.

Troy's appointment comes as SAP continues to gain ground with its dual solution portfolio for small and midsize businesses across the globe. SAP now counts nearly 5,400 customers and more than 400 microvertical industry solutions for mySAPT All-in-One, delivered through a global network of 430 partners. SAP® Business One now has nearly 3,700 customers and a partner network of more than 650 delivering the solution to businesses in more than 25 countries. Troy will succeed Hans-Juergen Uhink, senior vice president, who will continue to report to Apotheker in a strategic role for Global Field Operations.

Prior to joining SAP, Troy served most recently as executive vice president of worldwide channels for Network Associates, Inc., where she was responsible for global channel strategy, development and execution across North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan and Latin America. Before that, she was chief executive officer and president of Partnerware Inc., a channel management software company, and vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at Tivoli Systems. She spent 20 years at IBM, working in numerous marketing and sales management positions, including vice president of Global Solution Developer Alliances.

Troy holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from North Carolina State University.
