Informative Graphics Corp. (IGC) announced that it has reached a technology partnership agreement with McLaren Software, the Scotland-based developer of Enterprise Engineer. McLaren is a provider of engineering-focused, out-of-the-box content applications used in an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) environment.

As a result of the agreement, Informative Graphics® has begun work on a full integration of its Brava!® Enterprise visualization server for McLaren's Enterprise Engineer suite, including Drawing Manager and CADLink.

"McLaren has done an excellent job positioning their Enterprise Engineering product as the de facto content application suite for engineering-orientated organizations," said Ron Loback, executive vice president of sales at IGC. "Our Brava product is well optimized for enterprise scalability and provides unique security capabilities. We have high expectations as to what benefits this partnership and complement of products will yield for our customers," he added.

McLaren Enterprise Engineer is an integrated suite of user-configurable content management applications. It provides a comprehensive solution to manage engineering content-documents and CAD drawings-and the business processes that use it on a common ECM platform.

Enterprise Engineer manages engineering content throughout an asset's lifecycle, providing an effective level of process and content integration between the enterprise and the world of engineering. Enterprise Engineer applications are fast to configure, deploy, and update; they deliver a low total cost of ownership with a fast ROI, minimizing the cost of rework, mitigating the risk and cost of non-compliance, and improving the management of change.
